We're now accepting submissions for the 2012 Grayson Books Chapbook Contest!
Prize: $500, publication of chapbook and 50 copies
Deadline: January 31, 2012 postmark
Reading fee: $18 (make check payable to Grayson Books)
Submit: 16-24 pages of poetry, two cover sheets (one with contact information and one anonymous). SASE for results only. At this time we are not accepting electronic submissions.Simultaneous submissions are permissible if we are notified immediately upon acceptance elsewhere.
This year’s judge is Patricia Fargnoli. A former New Hampshire Poet Laureate, she is the author of four books and two chapbooks of poetry. Her newest book which is Then, Something (Tupelo Press, 2009), won the ForeWord Poetry Book of the Year Award Silver Award, the Shelia Motton Book Award of the New England Poetry Club, and an Honorable Mention in the Eric Hoffer Awards.
