The Collecting Jar

Marilyn Nelson selected The Collection Jar as winner of the Annual Grayson Books Poetry Chapbook Competition. Whether he is writing about cicadas, eighth graders, ladybugs, or family members, Hardy writes with meticulous language, loving attention to detail, and an affirmative vision of life.

Rob Hardy has been a teacher, a classics professor, a freelance writer and a stay-at-home father. His poems have appeared in numerous literary journals and anthologies.
